About Tea Waste e-Auction

‘Tea Waste’ means tea sweepings, tea fluff, tea fiber or tea stalks or any article
purporting to be tea which does not confirm to the specification for tea laid down
under the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act,1954 (37 of 1954) but does not include
green tea or green tea stalks.

Tea Board of India has initiated the Tea Waste Auctions through this online platform.
Only those users who are registered under the Tea Waste (Control) Order would be
able to participate in the Electronic Auction of Tea Waste. This website will provide
a common platform, from which Buyers and Sellers across India would be able to login
to Buy and Offer Tea Waste, respectively.

Q1. Who can participate in the Tea Waste e-Auction?
Only buyers and sellers registered under the Tea Waste (Control) Order
are eligible to participate in the Electronic Auction of Tea Waste.

Q2. How do I register as a new user?
Accounts are not created through the website itself. To register, email teaboardcouncil@gmail.com or call 033-22351331 Ext. 237, and the team will help set up your account.

Q3. What do I do if I've forgotten my password?
If you're locked out or can't reset your password yourself, email teaboardcouncil@gmail.com or call 033-22351331 Ext. 237 and the team will help you regain access.

Q4. My license under the Tea Waste (Control) Order has expired. Can I still bid?
No. Your license must be renewed before you can participate. Please visit
www.teaboard.gov.in
for renewal form details.

Q5. How do I change my password?
Click the "Change Password" link at the top-right of the screen. Enter your old password, then your new password twice to confirm. Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and contain both a letter and a number. A new password stays valid for 30 days, after which you'll need to change it again. You'll be asked to log in again after changing it.

Q6. Where can I find user manuals or learn about new features?
Log in to the Teawaste Web Portal and click on the Download link to access
user manuals and information on recently added features.
